Live Webcast Today: ABA Task Force on Future of Legal Education
The Task Force is charged with "making recommendations to the American Bar Association on how law schools, the ABA, and other groups and organizations can take concrete steps to address issues concerning the economics of legal education and its delivery," and is working through two subcommittees: one focused on the economics of legal education and one focused on the delivery of legal education.
In February, Educating Tomorrow's Lawyers (ETL) submitted a comment to the Task Force. Karen Mathis, Associate Executive Director of IAALS and a member of ETL's Executive Committee, delivered our testimony in person at the Task Force's meeting that same month. Mathis is attending today's meeting as an invited guest.
