Spring is in full swing here at IAALS, with several projects nearing release and a slate of virtual events on the horizon, and we’re thrilled to announce that Andrew Arruda has joined us as our first-ever Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Andrew has been indispensable to our work since he first joined our Board of Advisors in 2019, and we are excited for him to step into this more official position and have a larger role in our work.
With his history of entrepreneurship, wealth of expertise, and boundless enthusiasm, Andrew brings the spirit of innovation that IAALS has always championed when fostering change in the justice system. This game-changing addition to our staff will undoubtedly help IAALS achieve even greater impact during a time when our work is more important than ever.

Federal Pro Se Clinic in Colorado Helps the Public Navigate Our Federal Courts: Since 2018, the Colorado Bar Association Federal Pro Se Clinic has been helping people navigate the overwhelming process of filing and pursuing a lawsuit in federal court without a lawyer. Use of the clinic has increased substantially in the time it has been in operation, and all signs point to increasing demand for pro se assistance. |
