Expanding Our Classroom Walls: Enhancing Teaching and Learning Through Technology

The authors of this article seek to provide thoughtful, learning-objective-based uses of technology in legal classrooms. Three factors led the authors to want to integrate technology in a useful way: 1) the trend in legal practice toward the use of more technology, 2) the technological expertise of the modern student population, and 3) an understanding of student-centered learning theory. In this article, they present four technology-integrated activities they have utilized in their classrooms, inlcuding a sample memo database and an online grammar diagnostic, which can serve as low-cost classroom ready techniques for professors to easily use in their own teaching.
