In October, the Midwest Region Summit will be held in Kansas City, Missouri, to discuss implementation of the Recommendations of the Conference of Chief Justices. The Summit will consist of a dynamic mixture of plenary sessions, workshops, and state team planning sessions. The purpose of the Summit is to encourage each state to learn about civil justice reform efforts nationwide, and to provide each state with an opportunity to develop an action plan for reform or other activities in their respective jurisdictions.

Building Foundations for Practice in Law School

With support from NALP and SALT, this webinar is designed to introduce the Foundations for Practice study and to lead a discussion on how legal education can use the Foundations study to improve and better prepare students to become successful lawyers. The webinar will provide real world examples to inspire and inform others and will discuss not only how the Foundations study is already being used in law schools across the country, but also the potential for its use in the future.
