It is an honor to step into the role of CEO and lead our incredibly talented team as we continue IAALS’ important work—work that is more critical now than ever. Following this summer’s strategic planning process, we have recommitted ourselves to the things that make IAALS unique and are key to our ongoing impacts: impartial research, broad collaboration, user-centered design, and empirically driven recommendations.
There is an energy in the air about IAALS and our opportunities going forward. I’m excited to continue connecting with our partners and stakeholders along the way—and for the organization’s next chapter and the work to come.
IAALS Comment in Support of the Colorado Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals Program: IAALS submitted this comment to the Colorado Supreme Court in support of the Colorado Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals Program. The program would authorize paraprofessionals to provide limited legal services in family law without attorney supervision.
