Ashley Packard

Ashley Packard is the Development Specialist at IAALS. In this role, Ashley provides administrative support to the development team, manages the database, and assists with research and analysis throughout the donor engagement cycle.

Before coming to IAALS, Ashley was the Collections Manager at the Colorado Railroad Museum, where she oversaw the cataloging, preservation, and accessibility of the museum's collection. Earlier in her career, she worked as an archaeologist for Cultural Surveys Hawaii, conducting resource management, and with Joshua Tree National Park and Petrified Forest National Park, where she recorded, monitored, and protected archaeological sites.

Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Colorado State University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2015. As an undergraduate, she participated in a National Science Foundation Research and Education for Undergraduates field school conducting excavations at a Mississippian-period village in the central Illinois River Valley. She also worked with the Center for Mountain and Plains Archaeology, supporting archaeological research and stewardship across the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains.
