About Jordan Lewis
Jordan Lewis is the Research and Data Assistant at IAALS. In this role, Jordan is responsible for providing data collection and analysis in support of projects across IAALS’ programmatic areas including legal education, civil justice reform, and family justice reform.
Prior to joining IAALS in December 2025, Jordan undertook a variety of research roles in both the public and private sectors, primarily focused on expanding access and justice for underserved populations. His career began with poverty alleviation work at a Community Action Agency in suburban Cincinnati, tracking program outcomes and making recommendations to better serve low-income families. He then transitioned to the State of Ohio’s Development Services Agency where he partnered with communities statewide to implement Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects, impacting rural and low-income areas. In his most recent public sector role, Jordan served the Dayton City Commission, assisting with police reform efforts, the 2020 Census, and immigrant and refugee outreach initiatives.
He then transitioned to private sector research, conducting market analysis and consumer insights work for Gymshark and Future Snoops. In these roles, Jordan tracked macroeconomic trends and cultural drivers to develop forecasts for Fortune 500 companies and global clients alike.
Jordan received his MA in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Miami University. He also received a BA in Political Science from Western Michigan University, graduating from the Lee Honors College after completing his thesis research project on nuclear waste operations policy.
