Lara Wagner is the Associate Director of Legal Programs at the Rian Immigrant Center, where she manages the Center's Forms Clinics and pro bono programs. She also serves on the American Immigration Association's New England Chapter Community Based Organizations Committee.
Prior to joining Rian as a Staff Attorney in 2020, Lara was a solo practitioner in Chicago. Lara founded her solo practice through the Chicago Bar Foundation's Justice Entrepreneurs Project, which focuses on providing legal services to middle income individuals through the use of technology and alternative fee arrangements. As part of this work, Lara served on the CBF's Young Professionals Board, the National Immigrant Justice Center's Junior Leadership Board, chaired the Chicago Bar Association's Modern Law Practice Committee, and served on the CBF's Task Force on the Sustainable Practice of Law and Innovation.
Lara is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and Rhodes College.
