Megan Loeb is the Assistant Director of Development, Foundations, and Sponsored Programs at IAALS. In this role, Loeb is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a current and prospective grant and award portfolio through identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding foundations, corporations, and governmental agencies.
Loeb joined IAALS in 2025 after a variety of fundraising roles in the nonprofit sector. She started her fundraising career at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, where she secured grants for their international advocacy and litigation, U.S. advocacy and litigation, and human rights education programs. She went on to join the Waterfront Alliance as Director of Development, leading annual and major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, annual events, and donor communications in support of their mission to lead the way for thriving and resilient waterfronts, shorelines, and coastlines. After moving to Philadelphia, Loeb transitioned to higher education as Associate Director, Foundation Relations, for Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design and School of Education. She moved to an expanded role at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, designing their foundation, corporate, and government grants strategy and leading the submission process for their science research, collections, and community science departments.
Loeb received her Master of City and Regional Planning and Master of Public Policy from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she was an Eagleton Institute of Politics Graduate Fellow. She has a BA in Environmental Studies from Bates College.
