
Scott Patton is the Director of Development at IAALS. He is a senior nonprofit development leader who has focused on aligning funders of all stripes with justice-centered missions.
Most recently, Patton spent eight years building the fundraising operations and strategy for Undue Medical Debt, a national nonprofit that wipes the slate clean for individuals and families facing the numerous financial and health obstacles created by medical debt acquired through no fault of their own. Under Patton’s tenure as VP of Development, Undue abolished more than $1 Billion in medical debt for millions of people across the U.S.
Patton has held development roles and consulting positions with Donorly, American Relief Coalition for Syria, Community Peacemaker Teams, Monterey Jazz, and Seattle Opera, among others.
Patton obtained his BA in Communications from the University of New Orleans.
