Expanding Our Development Team to Drive Our Mission Forward

February 20, 2025

At IAALS, philanthropic support is essential to advancing our mission of building a more accessible, fair, and efficient legal system. As we continue to deepen our impact through research, convenings, and national partnerships, we are excited to expand our development efforts with new expertise to help us sustain and grow our work.

Last month, we welcomed Megan Loeb as our Assistant Director of Development, Foundations, and Sponsored Programs. Megan will manage our robust grant and award portfolio and help steward partnerships with foundations, corporations, and governmental agencies. She brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights and the Waterfront Alliance, where she helped secure grants and led major development initiatives—and which reflect her commitment to creating sustainable change. Megan later transitioned to higher education, most recently at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, where she spearheaded grant strategies supporting research, collections, and community programs.

Megan’s in-depth knowledge of fundraising strategy—combined with her passion for social impact— will be instrumental in bolstering IAALS’ philanthropic partnerships and accelerating our transformative work in the legal system. Together, we can ensure justice for all is a reality for all.
