Connecting the Ecosystem: Integrating Legal Tech into Self-Help & Legal Aid Systems
Registration opening soon!
Legal aid and self-help centers are stretched thin, while a growing ecosystem of tech tools remains disconnected from the front lines of service. Legal tech tools are a growing and important segment of the ecosystem, and integrating them into existing resource and referral systems can increase access to legal help for people who need it.
The Justice Tech Directory, a collaboration between the Legal Services National Technology Assistance Project (LSNTAP) and the Justice Technology Association, pulls together legal tech tools aiming to serve this target population. The Franklin County Municipal Court Self-Help Center and Legal Aid of North Carolina are two organizations who have integrated the Justice Tech Directory into their resource and referral systems. During this webinar, participants will:
- Examine real world implementation stories at the Franklin County Municipal Court Self-Help Center and Legal Aid of North Carolina
- Discover strategies for embedding tech tools into existing resource and referral systems
- Identify actionable steps to adapt these models to your local community
Participants will walk away with real-world case studies, practical integration blueprints, and actionable lessons learned from pioneers who have already done it.
This webinar is being hosted in connection with the Above the Line Network, which is dedicated to improving access to legal help for the underserved middle class.
