Expanding Sustainable Access to Justice Solutions
Nonprofit and sliding scale law firms are emerging across the country as innovative models for expanding access to affordable legal services while creating more sustainable practice structures. This webinar introduced participants to the core concepts behind these models, the communities and populations they are designed to support, and the role they play in ensuring access to justice for all regardless of income.
Participants heard about three different nonprofit and sliding scale law firm models from across the United States and explored how these organizations are working to grow and scale their impact over time. The session also addressed common challenges, along with practical considerations for launching similar models in local jurisdictions.
