Expanding Sustainable Access to Justice Solutions
Nonprofit and sliding scale law firms are emerging across the country as innovative models for expanding access to affordable legal services while creating more sustainable practice structures. This webinar will introduce participants to the core concepts behind these models, the communities and populations they are designed to support, and the role they play in ensuring access to justice for all regardless of income.
Participants will hear about three different nonprofit and sliding scale law firm models from across the United States and explore how these organizations are working to grow and scale their impact over time. The session will also address common challenges, along with practical considerations for launching similar models in local jurisdictions.
Attendees who are interested in taking a deeper dive into the nuts and bolts of launching and scaling a nonprofit/sliding scale law firm, and pricing legal services based on value instead of time, can join us for follow up workshops this summer and fall.
CLE credit is pending for this event.
