IAALS Welcomes New Operations Leadership to Power Its Next Chapter of Impact
As IAALS marks its 20th anniversary and looks ahead to the future of justice system innovation, we are pleased to welcome a new leader who will help strengthen our foundation and accelerate our impact nationwide.
This month, Amanda Fudala joined IAALS as our Senior Director of Operations. In this role, Amanda leads the organization’s day-to-day operations and drives strategic initiatives in close partnership with the CEO. She oversees a broad portfolio of core functions, including finance, human resources, communications, marketing, events, and development, ensuring strong alignment between IAALS’ operations and its mission and long-term goals.
Amanda brings more than 20 years of experience in administrative and operational leadership within higher education. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Conference & Event Services at the University of Denver, where she provided strategic direction for the division and spearheaded campus-wide initiatives. She has also held leadership positions at the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she helped build high-performing teams, strengthened organizational systems, and advanced mission-driven work.
Amanda’s depth of experience, strategic mindset, and collaborative leadership will be instrumental as IAALS continues to expand its national reach and deepen its impact. As we build on two decades of progress, her leadership will help ensure we are well-positioned to meet the opportunities ahead and shape the future of the justice system.
