Linda Odermott is a highly experienced paralegal with over 17 years of experience. She holds paralegal credentials from the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) and the Oregon Paralegal Association (OPA) and has been recognized nationally and locally, receiving awards from both organizations. Ms. Odermott is a frequent speaker and panelist on issues affecting the paralegal profession. When not at her day job, Ms. Odermott dedicates her time to teaching part time as a member of adjunct faculty in the Portland Community College's Paralegal Program, teaching both real property and the paralegal capstone courses. Her primary focus throughout her career has been on access to justice issues, having been appointed to numerous committees and workgroups with a hyperfocus on vetting licensed paralegal proposals. In August of this year, Ms. Odermott was appointed to the Committee of Paralegal Assessors (CoPA) for the Oregon State Bar by the Oregon Supreme Court. As a member of CoPA, she evaluates the applications of individuals seeking paralegal licenses in either landlord/tenant or family law.
