Your Perspective Can Shape the Future of Legal Service Availability in Your State.

What is this Study?

Across the country, new types of legal professionals who are not lawyers are working with lower- and middle-class clients and families to improve their access to justice. These legal professionals are licensed to provide certain commonly needed legal services, helping to address gaps for people in the legal system at a lower cost.

Each state titles these legal professionals differently, which can lead to confusion with people who need their services. To ensure these legal professionals can best serve your community, we’re working to understand what names/titles for these professionals inspire the most trust, confidence, and understanding. Your insights are vital in helping us create a shared vision for how these new paths to legal help are recognized and understood nationwide.
