Heather Bock, PhD, is the Chief Professional Development Officer for Hogan Lovells US LLP and oversees associate and partner training and development. She facilitates learning and development initiatives across the firm and is responsible for enhancing the people development tools and processes.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, she managed the training and development function for other professional services firms including Howrey LLP and Andersen. She also consulted to a variety of companies on HR strategy, organizational transformation and culture change. Ms. Bock's training initiatives won the NALP Award of Distinction and the Association of Training and Development (ASTD) BEST Award. In addition, Heather received the HR Leadership Award of Greater Washington in 2006 and the Chief Learning Officer Vanguard Award in 2007.
She has written several articles and authored a book on Using a Competency Model to Manage Firm Talent for the American Bar Association.
