While the factors contributing to the growing numbers of self-represented litigants are complex, the cost of obtaining an attorney is a prime motivator. In response to this changing reality, legal professionals are increasingly exploring alternative means of delivering legal services, in order to serve those families who otherwise could not afford counsel.

The Honoring Families Initiative is dedicated to helping the bar reach families who would otherwise be unable to access legal advice.

In partnership with the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), Honoring Families has developed a series of guides and toolkits on unbundled legal services for consumers/clients, non-legal professionals, lawyers, and courts.

Each of the resources are accessible below, and available for download.
