In Spring 2015, IAALS held its annual Rebuilding Justice Award Dinner, which recognizes individuals who exemplify the spirit of innovation and leadership that we champion across all of our work. This year, we honored the American College of Trial Lawyers Task Force on Discovery and Civil Justice.
IAALS and Justice at Stake convened individuals from around the country who have a stake in addressing the increased politicization of processes for retaining state court judges.
IAALS and the National Judicial College co-hosted this webcast for state court judges at no cost. This session provided a fundamental-level discussion of the rules and case law undergirding e-discovery, discovery sanctions, and spoliation. The webcast remains available on the NJC’s website, and we encourage judges to take advantage of this free and easily accessible education.
