North Carolina Bar Association releases judicial election information
April 19, 2012
The North Carolina Bar Association has released judicial election information, containing results from the 2011 Judicial Performance Evaluation Surveys and recent Non-Incumbent Judicial Candidate Evaluation Surveys, conducted by the Bar’s Judicial Performance Evaluation Committee and the Administration of Justice Committee; respectively. Both surveys use similar categories, providing North Carolina voters with performance-based information on which to cast an informed vote. The evaluation program was established by the North Carolina Bar Association Board of Governors in response to a perceived lack of information available to voters in judicial elections.
