Judge Frick was appointed to the Denver District Court in April 2010. Prior to her appointment, Judge Frick was a partner at Jacobs, Chase, Frick, Kleinkopf & Kelley since 1995, specializing in business litigation. She also served as an arbitrator and mediator. Previously, she was a member and manager at Kelly, Haglund, Garnsey & Kahn from 1983-95. She was a prosecutor in the Denver District Attorney’s Office from 1981-83 and an associate at Holme, Roberts & Owen from 1978-81.

She earned her B.S. degree from Colorado College in 1973 and her law degree from the University of Colorado in 1978. She has served on the Colorado Supreme Court Nominating Commission, Colorado College Board of Trustees, the Colorado Ballet Board of Trustees, as the state chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and as the vice chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers Task Force on Discovery and Civil Justice.
