“What impresses me most about the ETL Course Portfolios is the strong positive reactions that courses that incorporate skills elements receive from students and employers. Shepard asserts that he would like ‘to extend the philosophy of blending skills and doctrinal teaching into other areas of the law school curriculum such as civil procedure and pretrial litigation.’ As I have written several times, there is no reason we can't do this for all courses. Our students and the legal profession will be much better off.”
