Barbara Blackwell served as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at IAALS. She directed the development and partnership initiatives for the organization, which she joined in June 2013.
Previously, Blackwell enjoyed a 25-year career in fundraising, including four years as the Vice President of Advancement at Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania, leading a $93 million campaign, and eight years managing her own consulting firm. She also served as the Vice President of Donor Relations at The Pittsburgh Foundation—a $500 million community foundation—as well as spent time in the independent school sector.
In addition to her fundraising experience, Blackwell is a graduate of Allegheny College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
